Christmas mini mini

This is a mini Christmas mini that I had made for my daughter-in-law to carry in her purse or whatever she would like. This mini was made from Laura's design on Following the Paper Trail. It came together really quickly. All the tags were stamped with a background stamp I had purchased last year at Micheals. The tops of the tags are from a Stampin Up stamp set that I had used dimensionals on and added sparkle accents too. The 2010 was stamped on shrink film and punched with Stampin Up's ornament punch and heated with a heat tool. The embellishments are from Recollections. The designer paper are from DCWV and Stampin Up past Christmas collections. The front cover was stamped and embossed with the same stamp used on the tags. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the inside of the covers.

Thanks for looking.

Jingle Jangle Blog Party *Giveaway closed*

Welcome to the Jingle Jangle Blog Hop!

For the blog hop I decided to use what I have in my stash. The first set of ornaments are 3" round coasters that I have covered with patterned paper from last year's winter stack. On the reindeer ornament I had used the reindeer image from the paper stack and cut 1" circles with my punch to create a scalloped border. I then placed this image onto my coaster that was covered with patterned paper. For the banner I used a inkadinkadoo stamp and embossed in gold embossing powder and layered that onto velvet ribbon. I put dimensionals on the banner and then placed a holly button with the shank removed to the coaster. On the back of the ornament I used the pattern paper for a journaling spot. I used metallic paper to make the top of the ornament and embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

On the second ornament I had cut out Santa, Mrs. Clause, Elf and the reindeer out of Paper Doll Dress Up and layered them with different patterned papers. Again I covered a coaster with patterned papr and just adhered the cutouts with dimensionals. I used green metallic paper and the same cuttlebug folder to emboss for the top of the ornament with Stampin Up's Tab punch.

The second set of ornaments are made using one 7" circle cut in half and a 4" circle cut in half. Directions for these ornaments come from another crafter on youtube since these are not my original idea.

Christmas Wreath Advent Calendar

The idea for this wreath came from Jackie Topa, check out her blog here. I made this wreath using Stampin Up's petal card punch and the leaves were cut from my cricut using Scal. Directions for this wreath can be found on Jackie's blog she has a video on making the boxes. You can do many variations with these boxes. I cut the leaves with textured cardstock and on some of the leaves I scored down the middle to create a more 3d effect. I sprayed the leaves with smooch spritz in the yellow gold. I used the Martha Stewart punch for the ferns in between and attached the crystals with my I-rock. Each box has a stamped image inside. The brads are regular office brads that I had colored with my Sharpie markers and stamped snowflakes on with white Stazon ink. Thanks for looking.
