Chrysanthemum pumpkin display

The chrysanthemum flowers were cut with the cricut using scal and an svg file from svgcuts.com. The flowers were made with textured cardstock and sponged and curled for dimension along with the leaves. The pumpkin is a craft pumpkin for a local scrapbook store with the top cut and floral form added to the inside for the flowers to sit into. The butterfly design was cut from the cricut using vinyl. And the final touch was the ribbon bow. This was a fun but long project, but the outcome was worth it.

Teacher backpack

Here's a backpack that I made for my child's preschool teacher which we filled with monogrammed tissues, monogrammed notepad and pen and a monogrammed paperclip holder for the teacher aide. The buttons on the backpack are the stamps that I used on the pack colored on shrink plastic and punched and heated. This was a fun project and a great way to start off the school year.

Animal baby card

This card was made for my nephew who recently had a baby. I've been wanting to use this set (The Angel Company's So Silly stamp set) for a while and just never got around to it. The images were stamped and then colored with inks using a blender pen and then I embossed over the entire square with stampin up iridescent ice embossing powder. I layered those images on the black and then on the background paper from the DCWV Animal Crackers stack. Thanks for looking.

Best Wishes flower soft card

This card was made using the Stampin up retired stamp set Happy Harmony which I stamped in Wild Wasabi ink and 2nd generation stamped for a shadow image. Then took some tombow glue to the first image and added flower soft. I also added some pearl skittles on the designer paper strip which is layered on top of a strip of chocolate chip cardstock that has been punched with the eyelet border punch from stampin up.

Elephant birthday card

This card was made for a friend who is turning 50. She loves elephants and also has a great sense of humor so this image was perfect for her. I cleaned up the image in inkscape and then cut out the image using SCAL and my cricut. The beer drops are done using skittles. She loved this card.

baby shower bootie - SCAL

For this project I had received a template from a fellow crafter Pinkcrafter99 for this baby bootie. I did not want to go through the hassle of cutting out by hand so I loaded the template into inkscape and created an svg for scal to cut on the cricut. I then cut out the bootie with scal. Because this is for a friends shower I wanted to incorporate the stamp used on the invitation with the bootie, so I stamped the image on shrink plastic and colored with permanent markers then I punched out with a 1 1/2" scallop punch, this made the button for the bootie.

Halloween Peek-a-boo shaped card

Well Halloween is just around the corner and I decided to come up with a fun card. I knew I wanted to do a house card so I took a regular card 4.25x5.5 and made a peek a boo card. I cut a frame on top and chimney on the front of the card. On the inside of the card I stamped my image on white cardstock and layered on black. For the shutters I cut slits to form the slats on the shutters and then stamped and second generation stamped with the stamp set SU pocket silhouettes. The rubber stamped image inside is from the angel company.
