The Greeting Farm masculine card creepin crew

This card was made using a creepin crew stamp from The Greeting Farm. I colored his hair, face and inner shirt with copics. The guitar is paper glazed and the shirt and pants are paper pieced. The paper line is from DCWV. The metal letters are from my stash, I believe they were from making memories, I have had them quite awhile. The strips are from the same paper line I was trying to do faux washi tape since I do not have any. The image is cut out will a spellbinders die that I had also used on the inside. The little box was made using the sizzix box #2 die that I had used the same paper line on and added a sentiment from Stampin Up.

Breast Cancer TP mini

This mini was made for a friend who has someone battling breast cancer. I wanted to make something she could look at through those rough times and brighten up her day. This was made from toilet paper rolls and I used the cuttlebug ribbon die on each of the tags. I kept this fairly simple so it wasn't too overwhelming.

Simple Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are some of the hardest cards to make. Here is one I recently done for a freind. The stamp is from Stamping Up. The image was stamped on white textured cardstock and cut with a rectangle Nestabilitie die and layered with a scalloped Nestabilitie die cut from patterned paper. The background is white cardstock that I ran through the Cuttlebug with a Stampin Up embossing folder.

Baby Shower banner and table decorations

I was asked to do some decorations for a baby shower and this is what I have come up with.  The banner was made using the SCAL program and my digital cutter. I welded the letters on top of the bottle so they would cut out of the bottle and placed green cardstock behind the letters. The top of the bottle was embossed with the Cuttlebug and the swiss dots folder.

The baby carriages were made using some designer series paper and cut out with SCAL.  The images on the flowers are from The Angel Company stamps and colored with markers, they were then cut out with Nestabilities scallop circles and embossed, the outer scallop is a Stampin Up scallop punch that was embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder. The images are mounted on wooden skewers that were cut in various sizes. I placed batting in the carriage to help hold them in place and topped the batting with felt.

Teacher Appreciation

This card was made for Teacher Appreciation Day, my daughter has a wonderful teacher this year and we wanted to let her know that.
This is a regular A2 size card. For the chalkboard I stamped a woodgrain stamp on a tan cardstock and cut a frame with nestabilities square dies, this was layered on the top of a piece of black cardstock that was stamped with white craft ink. The ribbon is from Micheals. The apple, chalk, backpack, scissors and ruler are cut from a Disney Cuttlebug cut and emboss die. I used stickles on the scissors and glossy accents on the apple.

Simply Charmed Bunny with homemade flowersoft

This bunny was cut from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge. I hid the face features so I could use a Peachy Keen critter face stamp. The carrot was ran through the Cuttlebug using a Stampin Up embossing folder and the leaves were cut twice, the top layer was feathered. I had taken a styrofoam ball and shaved it with my grater, I then applied glue to the areas I wanted fluffy and sprinkled the shredded foam on top. I love the texture it created.I had used this same technique on a bigger bunny for a bulletin board at work for a spring layout.

Spooktacular Halloween mini

For my finale in the Halloween series I had originally wanted to video this mini but my computer had other ideas. So I will try to explain this as much as possible.  The outside is an unfinished wooden gravestone that I had bought at Michaels and painted with black acrylic paint and sponged with gray and gold shimmer paint. I left the bat emblem black. I then sealed with a sealer. I added the stitch witchery (thanks Yolie for the tip) to the front for a spider web and added some spiders from halloween confetti. Then I added the skeleton and added some bling in the eyes with my I-rock. You open the gravestone to reveal a mini inside. The papers I used on the mini were from last years Recollection and Making Memories Halloween papers. I used the Martha Stewart bat fence for some of the pages and the Cuttlebug cut and emboss gravestone for the journalling tags. I used Martha Stewart's drippy goo punch and EK Success Hole border punches for the photo mats. I then placed various epoxy stickers throughout the mini and used the web confetti for photo corners. On the front of the mini, are two charms from Michaels that I got last year I believe they are from the Spook Alley collection. I had fun putting this mini together with my daughter. She had fun painting the gravestone and picking out the stickers.

Books are Fun SCAL project

These were cut using the SCAL program and the cricut. Each book cover was embossed with a sizzix texture plate.  The books are 7" are were made for a bulletin board at school to welcome back the Jr./Sr. high classes.  I had also made a book for the staff later.  The cricut has been an awesome tool cause I can cut anything out for any occassion.  Thanks for looking.

Stampin Up Wedding Card

This card was made for a friend who recently got married.  I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder "birds and swirls" for the background and stamped an image from an older Stampin Up wedding set colored with a blender pen and Stampin Up inks.  The ribbon is Stampin Up's white organza (gorgeous ribbon). The "Mr & Mrs" is an older Stampin Up set "Fancy Flexible Phrases", I use this set alot.  The colors are Baja Breeze and White. Used the flower from Stampin Up's Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack for the added flowers and placed a pearl bling in the centers. Love the elegance of this card. Thanks for looking.

baby shower invitation

I have a friend who wanted me to come up with a baby shower invitation with the theme of turtles. Since I do not have any turtles in my stash I checked my daughters stamps and found a cute little turtle. My friend wanted to keep these simple so here is what I came up with. The baby outfit was not my idea a fellow crafter Kylie did this idea and I just added my version ( you can click on her name for the video.) The second card is a pocket card. I used the cuttlebug invitation embossing folder for the you're invited. Thanks for looking.
